This experience enables me to work equally well and communicate effectively with field operators, business development personnel, supervisors and senior management.
The various industry segments in which I have been active:
Natural gas compression
Natural gas measurement
Natural Gas treating and processing
Field technology implementation, SCADA

Asset and operations evaluation for acquisitions
This various career experience provide my clients a multi-disciplinary approach to problem resolution and business enhancement, addressing the comprehensive needs of the client.
Career History
Transtex Hunter, LLC.
President
A Houston-based gas treating services company providing amine, dehydration, hydrocarbon dew point control and condensate stabilization equipment. As president, I improved the organizational effectiveness of this natural gas treating service company. Coordinating with my mid-level management team, we were able to reduce field operating and SG&A cost by reducing field operating staff, replacing ineffective personnel and implementing purchasing and third-party service guidelines.
Eureka Hunter Pipeline
Sr. Vice President
I began the management of this pipeline construction project as a consultant. Starting with zero assets, my small team under my direction built a gas gathering system in West Virginia and Ohio, which was valued in excess of $1.3 billion at the time of its completion. After becoming the Sr. VP for construction and operations, my management responsibilities expanded; supervising the project's permitting, right-of-way acquisition, service and equipment procurement, engineering support, project management, organization building and operations of the pipeline system.
Compression Consulting; LLC
Managing Member
Began my business consulting career. The companies listed on the homepage include clients from this period.
Metrix Networks; Inc.
CEO; President; Vice President of Field Operations
Dallas-based oilfield technology company providing field data capture with Internet presentation.I was appointed to the position of President by the board of directors of the original company when the founding CEO was directed to resign. Metrix Networks was a tier-one developer and provider of oil field equipment remote performance monitoring. I was able to "right size" this technology organization resulting in the company's first positive cash flow.
I led the original company through a chapter 11 bankruptcy to reduce debt while continuing operations and increasing revenue. Upon a successful asset sale to new investors, my team was asked to stay on. We continued to grow the company with new products, outsourcing of services, and providing clients with an Internet-based, field operating optimization, technology service. This profitability continued until the company was eventually purchased by an industry competitor.
Ouachita Energy (OEC)
Vice President Operations; Vice President of Business Development
Ouachita Energy (OEC) was a natural gas contract compression service. I began my time at OEC as the only outside business development/sales person. Based in Dallas, I covered the geographical area of East Texas and North Louisiana. My sales efforts eventually expanded the business area of OEC to include West and South Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Southern Louisiana. Over the course of five years, the company’s revenue directly related to my business development, increased revenue by over 400%.
In 1999, Equitable Compression purchased OEC, with the joint CEOs being industry leaders Ray Davis and Kelcy Warren. Though my company was the acquired company, I was appointed VP of Business Development, managing a combined sales and marketing team of nine professionals. Prior to the sale of the company to Hanover Compression, my responsibilities were expanded to include the management of the extensive field operations with over 100 employees, as Vice President of Operations.
